Welcome to the 2008-2009 school year! We begin this year with excitement and high energy. Our building is beautiful and in great shape, thanks to the hard work of parents, students, faculty and staff. What a wonderful example of stewardship in action! Our technology is advancing at great speed! The additions and improvements in both software and hardware are outstanding as are our licensed websites for teaching and learning activities.
St. Rita School has a rich history and a fine reputation of serving the children in Okolona and surrounding communities. This reputation is the result of the commitment and dedication of those who have come before us in the past 79 years and is passed to us, the present school family, to continue.
Our mission is centered in providing an outstanding academic education and faith formation just as it was for the Ursuline Sisters in 1928. To new families, we welcome you to share in the real Spirit of St. Rita; you will help us to become even better! As true followers of Christ, we have what it takes to be Peace Builders, to use our many talents and abilities to grow in knowledge of and our relationship with Christ as we serve others.
